DoYaThing - Andre 3000, Gorillaz, James Murphy

This is everything you want from these three and more. It is a work of beauty. Andre fucking kills it, James Murphy and Damon Albarn revive that early 2000s gorillaz feel, and then they put it together to create a sonic orgasm. Just go listen already.

Rigamortis - Kendrick Lamar

Forget everything you thought you knew about rap. Let's start there. Kendrick Lamar showed up on the radar a few months ago, and since then has been garnering attention faster than almost anyone on the scene. This kid can spit faster than anyone but the legendary Andre 3000 himself, and he is versatile as all hell. On top of that, he's pretty damn clever and has some awesome beats.

Niggas in Paris - Kanye West & Jay-Z

What in the what?!

This video absolutely blew me away. I wasn't a massive supporter of The Throne at first. I mean, sure it's got great production, but it's not much more than Jay and Kanye bloating their already massive egos (Though Justin Vernon getting funky fresh on That's my Bitch was pretty epic). That being said, HOT DAMN, Ye and Jay killed it on this cut. Not only did they clean up the production, but they put on an incredible looking show. The clip is certainly trippy and might be a bit much to take in, but if you've got 4 minutes, it's probably the best video that will come out all year. That shit is cray as fuck.

Home - Earl Sweatshirt

If you didn't hear, earlier today some tweets from Earl Sweatshirt of Odd Future showed up on the net asking for some followers. After a teaser video of new music, Earl dropped a new track. It can be viewed HERE at the new Earl Sweatshirt website.

Fake Blues - Real Estate

I'm a bit late to the party on this one. Real Estate are already three records deep, but that's probably the best new I've heard all month. These guys pull off the sort of dreamy surf-pop that would come out of a collaboration between Beach-House and the Walkmen. Fake Blues came out back in 2009 as a part of their self titled LP. I think it might be one of the best tracks on the album, but that is by no means a qualifier for you to not check out the entire discography. The only complaint I have is that Real Estate will make you want to cruise with the windows down and summer is still a while off. These dreamy rockers are currently opening for Girls, so be on the lookout for a show near you!

Stay Useless - Cloud Nothings

I know that there isn't a real video for this one, but I haven't been able to stop listening to this cut from their new LP for a month straight. The Cloud Nothings decided to take a much more aggressive approach on the most recent album, and to their credit it worked magnificently. The pop-punk aspect of songs like Stay Useless appear throughout Attack on Memory, though much of the album is focused on more brutal, deep, percussion lead, beats which de-emphasize the role of the choruses in keeping a song together. While Stay Useless seems to deviate from that trend by using such a simplified, catchy chorus, it allows the Cloud Nothings to show their creativity in the bridges, letting their hooks sink in deep enough to keep you coming back for more. Personally, I can't wait to see how these guys continue to develop. While their sound might come off as a bit messy at first, a few listens will have you realizing just how well these guys know what they're doing and yearning to get into a pit and dance your ass off.
